REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent technical knowledge within the field of civil engineering.
- Coordinates, writes, and/or edits specifications as applied to civil engineering.
- Strong leadership skills can meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and with integrity.
- Strong planning, organizing, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to self-manage projects from start to finish, with oversight.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio or Form-Z, Photoshop, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning codes, and approval processes related to civil engineering.
- Thorough understanding of building systems and site requirements related to civil engineering (Structural, MEP, Civil & Geo-Tech).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Licensure in engineering is preferred.
