Project: 12 months contract to hire
Pay: $55-$70/HR
Location: Victorville, CA
• Proficient in NX/Solidworks/Catia 3D Modeling with a focus on wire harness design
• Background in aircraft interior completions
• EWIS experience required
• Understanding of electrical functional separation requirements
What You Will Do:
• Responsible for the design and oversight of the wire installation, operation and maintenance of electrical components, equipment, and systems
• Create a drawing list of assigned wire installation for project
• Designs wire harness layouts and drawings utilizing engineering drafting tools in 2D and 3D
• Designs the wire installation of electrical components and equipment with maintenance and operational functionality in mind.
• Participate in the scheduling to ensure accuracy to major milestones and deliverables; Estimating of assigned wire harness design drawings to ensure accuracy of hours
• Maintains close coordination with project engineers to comply with scheduled of cost of projects
• Works with approved budget, develops and implements cost saving measures, contributes to profits and revenue and conserves organizational resources
- Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in FUNCTION).
- Ability and willingness to travel off-site with Flying Test Bed when program requirements dictate (5%).
- Ability and willingness to work at offsite locations for extended periods of time as business needs dictate.

- Thorough knowledge of flight test and turbomachinery instrumentation (design, application, signal conditioning, data acquisition and troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of alternating (single and three phase) and direct current theory
- Ability to create and review electrical systems and instrumentation drawings
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot aircraft electrical, instrumentation/data acquisition and power management systems on GE Aviation’s Flying Test Bed
- Ability to monitor and understand various analog and digital data acquisition systems used in the testing environment
