Change Control Manager – Permanent – Raleigh, NC – $106,000 - $140,000.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Change Control Manager in Raleigh, NC.
Role Description
To maintain company's change control process and coordinate with various teams throughout the organization to ensure changes are properly communicated and implemented.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1) Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities:
- Leverage a change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes.
2) Support communication efforts:
- Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key internal and external communications. This will include Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and customer notices to make sure they adhere to best practices and defined standards.
3) Assess the change impact:
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
4) Support training efforts:
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs to help employees understand and adapt to change.
5) Continuous improvement:
- Creating and utilizing metrics to make data driven decisions on the success of the change management process
Skills & Requirements
MUST HAVE / REQUIRED SKILLS:
1) Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
2) Previous Change Control Administrator experience (someone grooming to become a Change Control Manager)
3) Previous experience being the "point person" for all change control related issues w/in IT (this is NOT an organizational change management role!)
4) ITIL Certified
5) Previous experience completing change management assessments
6) Previous experience wit: identifying, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics
Additional experience:
- Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance
- Consult and coach technical teams
- Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Coach people managers and supervisors
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Evaluate and ensure change readiness
- Manage stakeholders
- Audit, Track and report gaps and issues
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Support change management at the organizational level
