Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Pay Rate: $28 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and friendly Receptionist to join our small Seattle office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for staff and guests, ensuring smooth office operations while providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with key team members to maintain a welcoming and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly Duties:
- Welcome everyone with a positive attitude.
- Build relationships with staff and anticipate their needs (e.g., brewing decaf for specific team members).
- Show guests around the office, especially for hoteling staff.
- Handle parking validations when necessary.
- Maintain Kitchen and Shared Spaces:
- Restock coffee and snacks.
- Track snack inventory.
- Clean and wipe down surfaces, run the dishwasher, and ensure the kitchen is tidy.
- Monitor Printer Stations:
- Restock paper and toner.
- Organize and restock office supplies.
- Conference Room and Hoteling Office Setup:
- Ensure conference rooms are ready for meetings.
- Check with attorneys about specific setup preferences.
- Inform attorneys when guests have arrived and offer drinks to visitors.
- Scan incoming mail and manage outgoing mail.
- Answer and transfer calls as needed.
Monthly Duties:
- Lunch for Monthly Lawyer Meetings:
- Order, pick up, and set up lunch for meetings.
- Keep track of snack and supply inventory, ordering as necessary.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
- Monitor and track shredding service pickups.
- Deep clean the fridge monthly, including wiping shelves, discarding expired items, and notifying staff to take home containers.
