The A-C Electric Company Internship Experience Program offers a diverse, personalized learning journey. You will gain practical skills, develop professionally, and explore various career paths within our organization. This 10 week summer program immerses you in real construction projects, fostering both personal and professional growth. About You:
- We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.
- We are looking for students who are passionate about learning Contract Law.
- Desired majors include Pre-Law or Business Administration.
Key Responsibilities and Internship Benefits:
Over the course of our 10 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems.
- Participate in Book Club assignments to develop interpersonal communication skills and leadership.
- Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of A-C Electric Company.
- Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Attend “Meet & Greets” aimed to enhance vital networking skills with industry leaders.
- Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the construction industry.
- Enjoy fun summer activities, including team-building outings and social gatherings.
- Develop a LEAN strategy and deliver a formal presentation on your summer project work.
- The Legal Intern will be supervised by our Contracts Manager.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (Beginning May 27 to August 1).
- Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation on or before August 2027.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above),
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, or engineering internships.
- Exceptional communication skills, interest, and enthusiasm related to electrical engineering and/or construction.
Relocation:
- Must be able to relocate to Bakersfield for the entirety of the internship.
Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
