Senior Financial Analyst
Summary: Prepares and analyzes accurate financial information on a timely basis, including but not limited to analysis on results of operation, profit/loss, product penetration, loss ratios, claims and commissions, pricing, and reporting those results and any unusual issues or circumstances to the Director of Financial Planning C Analysis. Will engage with the data analytics functional area to ensure data accuracy and participate in the development of analytical content in a modern business intelligence environment. Will also be involved in other projects and work closely with the VP of Finance and other team members. When necessary, this individual should be able to work cross functionally to support other departments when their skill set is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities; however, the candidate must possess excellent project management, strategic thinking and analytical skills and provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following. Other duties can be assigned):
-Develop financial forecasts including annual operating plan and strategic planning sessions.
-Review and analyze monthly reporting in modern BI environment to ensure accuracy; prepare for monthly and quarterly business review with leadership team.
-Perform analysis of Clients' loss trends, targeted towards reducing overall risk of loss by spotlighting areas for improvement.
-Ad hoc analysis as needed by management.
-Build "Deal Models" to be used in assessment of external client contract terms.
-Provides superior internal customer service to company’s Business Unit.
-Support the operations of the Organization's Incentive Program.
-Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
-Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
-Participates in required training
-Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

Environment Demands:
Work includes frequent project assignments and interaction with customers, vendors, and company personnel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Duties are performed primarily in the office but frequent travel to dealership locations is required.
