Assistant Manager - Programmable Technology
Requirement
- -Proven hands-on experience of networking such as TCP/IP, routing protocols, subnetting, VLANs, etc.
- -Proven ability to set up and manage lab environment, including physical and virtual setups.
- -Expertise in installing and managing server hardware, including Dell iDRACs, HP iLO, RAID arrays, and power management (DC, AC distribution).
- -Experience in configuring and maintaining multi-vendor L2/L3 networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell).
- -Knowledge of lab-specific equipment (firewalls, VPNs, network analyzers).
- -Strong understanding of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP)
- -Experience in supporting and troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
- -Experience in equipment installation & migration, including proper & clean labeling & cabling
- -Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, as well as understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware and OpenStack for managing both physical and virtual setups.
- -Ability to create as-built design documents & database entries for new equipment installed in LAB and/or circuits. Keep-to-date LAB inventories, Design Document & Diagrams
Preferred and/or Skills to be acquired on the job
- -CCNA or higher
- -Experience with Cloud-Native (Docker, Kubernetes), e.g., build Dockerfile, docker-compose, build Kubernetes cluster with kubeadm or similar tools, manage kubernetec cluster. Have certificate on Kubernetes Administration is an asset.
- -Know Python, Linux bash, Powershell script, or other similar scripting languages
- -Know API, be able to build API server and test some existing API
- -Experience with virtualization technologies and managing virtual environments, such as VMware and OpenStack.
- -Monitoring the performance, availability, and usage of enterprise lab software applications, identifying, and troubleshooting any issues or anomalies, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
