POSITION: Internal Customer Support - Transportation Specialist (multiple openings)
LOCATION: Tempe, AZ 85284 (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
PAY RATE: $20.82 per hour
DURATION: 4-Months + Extensions
REGULAR SHIFT/HOURS:
- Friday – Tuesday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Work from home on Fridays and Saturdays and work in the office on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays
START DATE: 10/28/24
TRAINING SCHEDULE (2 Weeks): Monday – Friday from 8pm – 5pm

SUMMARY:
- This position will involve data entry, such as creating work orders, creating & canceling loads, and other necessary documentation.
- These individuals will be specifically supporting the clients' customer-facing freight and will be responsible for taking around 50 calls per day to help coordinate and communicate between carriers and facilities to assist with any type of disruption that occurs during the transportation process.
- Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience/solutions, in a high-volume contact center environment, through researching, problem-solving, setting appropriate expectations and working within the clients' transportation network to get trailers/trucks back on track when disruptions occur.
- Work in fast-paced environment, and adhere to schedules: start/stop, and breaks/lunches.
- Support workload surges and/or weather-related operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated high-volume peaks.
- Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (AAP, Reach, Decisive).
- Provide support to field teams and partners by creating repair requests, monitoring repair execution, ensuring on-time preventive maintenance, and maintaining unit history.
- Use analytical skills to drive data-driven decision, and effectively communicate insights to others within the clients' Transportation, Freight and Fleet Operations teams.
- Provide support to drivers and carriers with over the road disruptions.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2+ years of experience in a heavy phone support role.
- Strong customer service skills and patience.
- Excellent professionalism is a must.
- Experience using Excel and overall tech savvy.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once and must have ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekend schedules (working on both Saturdays and Sundays) and be okay with OT.
- Must be willing/able to work on holidays such as Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve.
Compensation:
$20.82/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
