A nationally leading Manufacturing and Logistics company is searching for a Financial Analyst that will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Vena Growth Engine. The Financial Analyst will be directly responsible for developing plant financial planning models, corporate deal models for acquisition targets, and developing monthly reporting to measure plants' performance compared to projections. This role requires very strong Vena skills to support the financial modeling and offers opportunities for growth within the business while working directly with Senior Management.
Responsibilities
· Create and maintain financial reporting using Vena consolidating software tool
· Provide timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to Sr. leadership
· Work with SBU finance leadership to develop financial reporting cadence and identify KPI’s included in the financial reporting
· Support the company Operating Plan/Budget process, working closely with the leadership teams for each SBU and consolidating results for total company
· Work closely with Director of Finance, CFO and Operations team to build/monitor capital expenditures
· Support business strategies, initiatives and projects effectively into financial modeling, including prioritizing expenditure / investment initiatives and M&A
· Work closely with finance leadership to support with ad-hoc modeling
Qualifications:
· Vena familiarity, experience, or expertise
· Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with others and build strong relationships.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business problems and help build a business case using data
· Strong Vena, Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
· Experience/ knowledge of data structures
· Proven ability to work independently
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in finance or accounting related field from accredited college or university; and seven years related-experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
