Our client, a local manufacturer in Lexington, is seeking an experienced and motivated Information Technology Manager. This rolewill be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Virtualization (VMware ESXi), Windows Server administration, storage administration (SANs, backups), Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra), Active Directory and Group Policy
- Project Management: Manage complex IT projects, including ERP upgrades, infrastructure refreshes, and new build outs
- ERP Management: Syteline ERP and SQL Server management, including administration, upgrades, EDI, and BI reporting.
- Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Advocate for continuous security improvements and implements security best practices
- Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures
- Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing infrastructure: virtualization, server, network and storage administration
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT, CIS or or a related technical field preferred but work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- ERP and SQL server management experience
- Management and leadership skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Pay Range $85,000 - $95,000 per year
