Aspirus Riverview Hospital is seeking a Manager of Laboratory to join our team!
- The Manager- Laboratory Services plans, directs and oversees activities, programs, staff, and services for their responsible department(s) and location(s).
- The position develops and implements goals and objectives for assigned areas of responsibility in collaboration with Regional Director.
- The position implements and manages plans and budgets necessary to achieve goals. She/he will seek and consult leader, other departments and within the system functional team to ensure effective and efficient coordination of efforts.
- Oversees and directs the work of supervisory and non-supervisory employees as assigned and assures competency.
- In collaboration with the Regional Director, oversees all departmental services in accordance with applicable hospital standards, policies and procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE. Mainly day shift.
Experience Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related field required. Master’s degree desired.
- Laboratory training culminating in national certification: MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience laboratory clinical experience required. Leadership experience preferred.
