Quality Engineer
What you will be doing:
The Quality Engineer will develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and protocols, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to the existing systems and processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, defects' root causes, and improvement areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality assurance records.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality control procedures, best practices, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Facilitate Document control.
- Implementation of QMS Supplier Management processes into our QMS.
- Manage controlled change within our QMS with the assistance of the Quality Manager and affected department heads.

- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
- First Principal Thinking.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in preferred Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in quality assurance or process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) are desirable but not mandatory.
