Job Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, commission, and perform point-to-point checkouts for HVAC control systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electronic control system malfunctions, focusing on electronic/digital control systems.
- Test and modify control programs to improve system performance.
- Assist with field changes and provide corrections for engineering drawings and designs.
- Train customers on HVAC electronic control systems, providing relevant manuals and documentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical contractors to troubleshoot control-related issues.
- Ensure all work adheres to company standards, state and federal regulations, industry guidelines, and customer requirements.
- Complete necessary documentation for company, customers, and service records.
- Use electronic test equipment to identify and resolve installation issues.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, software programs, and product manuals accurately.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and performing point-to-point checks for Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
- Strong knowledge of electronic/digital controls systems, low voltage electrical systems, HVAC control systems, facilities management systems, and various network communication protocols.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances (background, criminal history, employment, and credit checks).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
