Job description :
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of the electrical infrastructure at the Marietta plant. This includes overseeing modifications of existing systems and the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also supporting day-to-day maintenance activities.
Responsabilities :
- Ensure the timely completion of projects, including the development of detailed job scopes, ensuring equipment installation meets plant standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to the maintenance and production teams.
- Participate in emergency repairs and troubleshooting of critical equipment.
- Review and revise High Tension and lockout procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Assist with process control issues, including PLC-related troubleshooting.
- Lead and manage the plant’s energy management system (ISO 50001).
- Submit, update, and validate electrical drawings in the document control system.
- Test and re-qualify High Tension operators in line with company safety policies.
Your Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in high-voltage transformer operation and maintenance, as well as industry-recognized safe practices.
- Basic knowledge of system controls and PLCs is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
