Job Title: Implementation Engineer L2
Job Summary:
RevSpring provides patient engagement and revenue cycle management services to its clients. Implementing RevSpring’s patient engagement services for clients requires configuration of complex workflows and business rules. The L2 Implementation Analyst will apply their outstanding analytical skills towards creating and testing rules, thereby ensuring accurate customer implementations.
Additionally, this role will participate in troubleshooting problems with customer configurations that may arise post go-live. In response to being assigned a trouble ticket, typical tasks would include reviewing event logs, querying database records, and examining the configuration to adequately respond to the inquiry or identify the root cause of the reported issue.
This position will be hybrid in that the candidate is expected to come to the office approximately once per week, with the remaining days being remote. Preferred RevSpring office locations are Hamilton, NJ or Nashville, TN.
Essential Functions:
- Rules Configuration – This team member will assist the project team in gathering and documenting requirements regarding desired client workflow, implement using JSON configuration files and adding/modifying mysql database records, and testing / verifying the configuration behaves properly before moving the configuration to production.
- Rules Troubleshooting-- This team member will provide troubleshooting and technical assistance, specifically investigation and remediation of issues that occur because of incorrect business rule configuration. To be successful in this aspect of the role, the candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Business Support – Since this team member will be involved in a significant amount of the day-to-day interaction with the customer, he or she will be in good position to suggest, implement, document, and help to improve processes that would make the services we offer more efficient and/or effective. Therefore, the L2 Implementation Analyst will perform various business support tasks such as documenting systems and processes, suggesting / implementing process and/or system improvements, and well as performing various sales and/or business development tasks that are needed.

Specific Job Skills:
- It is required that the candidate be very comfortable with logic expressions and have hands-on experience configuring business rules.
- It is required that the candidate possess patient registration, patient intake, medical billing, or revenue cycle experience.
- It is required that the candidate be comfortable reading, understanding, and writing configuration files expressed in JSON format.
- It is preferred that the candidate have experience in computer programming.
- It is preferred that the candidate be comfortable with Linux and working in a command shell such as bash, and with scripting languages such as python.
- It is preferred that the candidate be familiar with text search, preferably within a log aggregation tool such as Splunk
- It is required that the candidate possess excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.
- It is required that the candidate have outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
- It is required that the candidate is detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task.
- It is required that the candidate have patient registration, patient intake, medical billing, or revenue cycle experience.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3 years' experience with and be very fluent at writing SQL queries

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
