Key Responsibilities:
- Trust Administration: Oversee a portfolio of personal trust accounts, ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are managed with the utmost care and in accordance with the terms of each trust.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and advisors, providing expert guidance and handling inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while safeguarding client assets.
- Account Management: Conduct regular account reviews, monitor investment performance, and align trust strategies with client goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, tax advisors, and other team members to deliver seamless client service and provide comprehensive financial planning.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within trust accounts and make proactive recommendations to protect client assets and interests.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in trust administration or fiduciary services, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field; advanced degree (JD, CPA) or CTFA designation is a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of trust and estate law, as well as fiduciary principles and regulatory requirements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients, beneficiaries, and internal teams.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a meticulous approach to managing and overseeing complex trust structures.
