Position Overview
The Junior Packaging Designer will assist in the development and execution of product packaging designs, ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. This role is ideal for someone passionate about packaging design and looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and creation of packaging materials for various products
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align packaging with branding guidelines, deliverables will include boxes, hangtags, labels, etc.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing and functional packaging designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding packaging
- Maintain organized documentation of packaging projects and revisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of packaging materials and production processes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with typography is a plus
