Job Description:
- Conducts scheduled and unscheduled field maintenance
- Performs full system audits to ensure the highest construction quality is met
- Electrical troubleshooting
- DAS, inverter, communications, and PV system commissioning
- Provides field support to engineering during system performance tests
- Identifies and documents faults, specification/drawing deviations, safety violations, etc.
- Maintains customer, partner and subcontractor relationships
- Maintains equipment and assigned PPE
Experience Needed:
- Possesses general understanding and technical expertise in means and methods relating to
PV commissioning, operation and troubleshooting.
- Understands the principles and safe operation of grid-tied, commercial PV electrical systems.
- Sustains knowledge of emerging technologies and assists with process improvement.
- Electrical and PV related troubleshooting skills and expertise.
- Office skills including the use of computers, Microsoft Office, data acquisition systems,
communications and remote computing.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, cellular, fiber and machine to machine (M2M) communications.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications and procure materials and
equipment when required.
- Willingness and ability to work in the field approximately 90% of the time
