Our client is a consulting firm seeking an IT Operations Manager for an Atlanta area private school. Prior experience with an academic institution is preferred. The role will be on-site in Norcross, GA and full-time hours with an ASAP start date. This is an ongoing contract role but our client is also open to it being a Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire (W-2, benefits).
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Operations Management
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Oversee and assist/lead the day-to-day operations of the IT department
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance
- Longer term Technical Lead for IT staff, providing guidance, training, keeping processes owned and defined
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement and manage IT security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems
