Position: Construction Project Manager

Pay: $65/hour
Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience in running Security projects
- Must have some construction experience running low voltage, structured cabling, security or electrical contracting projects
Education: PMP certified a plus

Conde Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Participate in project development- collaborating externally with client and internally with sales and operations in the development and approval of the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Perform pre-bid reviews and estimating support
- Conduct “Sales to Operations Turnover” meetings
- Manage the development of project plans in advance of project activity, insuring effective execution by the Project Team
- Monitors progress to assure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan
- Manage the requirements, design, development and implementation of multiple systems and applications
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)
- Prepare or oversee the development of system baseline documentation
- Utilize Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Complete understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of engineering re-estimate reports
- Utilize financial and monthly forecasting to manage and contain costs
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of progress billings, pursue timely payments from the customer and authorizes payments to material suppliers and subcontractors
- Obtain bids and select reliable product manufacturers, subcontractors, consultants, software development company or engineers to provide the proposed solution, software, device installation, special construction, or other services
- Participate in project meetings and manage the completion of all close-out documentation such as planning, testing and training documentation, system architectural drawings and system operating instructions
Position Requirements:
- Must have some construction experience running low voltage, structured cabling, security or electrical contracting projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (advanced expertise desired)
- Critical thinking capabilities
- Detailed understanding of engineering and software development methodologies:
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification recommended
- Understand and apply software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes within a project solution
- Strong knowledge of IT project management process and industry fundamentals and business operations
- Excellent contracting skills
- Understand job financial reports and apply these when managing assigned projects
- Strong leadership, listening, verbal and written communication skills
