Customer Engineer
Job Responsibilities: you will provide on-site Customer support for deployed 5G wireless network systems. You will test and evaluate innovative wireless technologies in both controlled wireless environments and real-world conditions. This includes log analysis, capturing packets via Wireshark, consisting of a robust understanding of 5G protocol stacks, chasing corner cases, and supporting customers. You will work closely with development and testing teams to resolve issues. This could include modifying system designs and implementing the solution.
- Setup lab/field end-to-end system to enable full functionalities and ensure satisfactory system performance/protocols/features.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Characterize system performance, stability, and field testing.
- Generate and present system evaluation and test report to customers.
- Work closely with Product teams to learn from past experiences and improve development methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- 4+ years of recent and direct experience with wireless communications system design and implementation of 5G open ran architecture.
- Experience with 5g protocol stack and 5G call flow
- Understanding of Linux, TCP/IP and Internet protocols
- Troubleshoot and improve KPIs on Radio Optimization of SRAN, 5G/LTE networks
- Ideal candidate should have Prelaunch optimization experience in 5G and trouble shooting layer 3 messages in 5G.
