As a General Manager at Restoration Company, you will lead a team of restoration and reconstruction professionals to rebuild and restore residential and commercial properties affected by disasters such as fires, floods, or other traumatic events. Your primary responsibility is to oversee company operations, drive long-term growth and profitability, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to industry standards. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Must have industry experience as a Water Crew Chief or Operations Manager.
- Must have Good communication skills.
- Must have previous branch production, sales, and management experience.
- Previous project management experience is highly desired
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Ability to travel out of town
- Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
- Lead and represent the company’s values and mission in all operations.
- Set and review goals with team members, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee financial and operational performance, working closely with the CFO, Operations Manager, and Marketing Manager.
- Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and review key metrics such as sales performance, job reports, and work in progress (WIP).
- Lead staffing decisions, implement policies, and foster effective communication between departments.
- Ensure compliance with franchise agreements and operational standards.
- Address personnel issues and assist with problem-solving and decision-making as needed.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, addressing any concerns professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in restoration construction, management, and project management/estimating.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in reading, interpreting, and managing financial statements.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present to various audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and bring diverse teams together.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Certifications required. the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) or the Restoration Industry Association (RIA). These certifications demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and procedures. They can also be required to work with insurance agents and claim adjusters.
