This Senior Superintendent is responsible for the supervision of the construction project resulting in successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to create and maintain an accurate “six-week look-ahead schedule.”
- Evaluating and reviewing pre-construction documents and assisting with the development of scopes of work alongside the PM.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate and professional as built drawings.
- Prepare necessary reports (e.g. time sheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
- Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner.
- Review all drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals.
- Chair or attend pre-job conference, regular subcontractor meetings.
- Document final close-out and Owner’s acceptance
- Perform manual work only in rare circumstances.
- Ability to travel as required by management.
- Ensuring safety standards are carried out on the job site via site visits, work practices, equipment and safety devices. Maintain a safety violation log and conduct weekly safety meetings.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements
- 5-8 years' Experience delivering high value construction projects as a Superintendent/Lead Superintendent
- 5+ yrs. Experience of working on $50M+ projects.
- 2-5 years commerical experience preferred.
- Understand geotechnical, structural, and materials testing requirements and procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend all contract documents.
- Thorough technical knowledge and understanding of site development trades, structural trades, and building envelope trades
- Experience managing, coordinating and obtaining close-in inspections and certificates of occupancy
- Working knowledge of all crafts (ability to read and understand specifications for all trades), and prior experience as foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer
- Knowledge of OSHA laws
- Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
- Ability in problem-solving
- Strong sense of urgency

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
