Amundsen Davis LLC is seeking a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. A strong candidate will demonstrate effective organizational and interpersonal skills. This role is forward-facing as a point person for all Amundsen Davis employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the employee annual performance review process utilizing the talent management portal in UKG Pro.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to policy, timesheets, PTO accrual, etc.
- Assist with tracking and providing support for attorney continuing legal education (CLE) credits.
- Build effective reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendor and team to update and maintain data within the HR management system, including employee updates, PTO accruals, timesheet edits, and other special changes/updates.
- Assist team in coordinating employee engagement events across all 12 offices; sending sympathy/birthday cards and flowers to employees.
- Maintain Firm’s intranet page specific to the Human Resources department.
- Process inquiries related to employment verifications, employee questions, policy questions, etc.
- Provide backup support to pre-hire tasks for new hires including onboarding and orientation.
- Assist Benefits Specialist with open enrollment and other benefit-related tasks as needed.
- Assist in maintaining the department’s physical and digital filing system.
Qualifications
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS and payroll management system, required.
- Strong customer-service skills; sets and achieves expectations, meets commitments, and demonstrates an understanding and ability to assist others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data in an ethical and professional manner.
- Proficient in MS office software, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint with strong Excel skills.
- Able to bring a positive attitude and initiative in developing projects and HR strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to proofread own work.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and with diplomacy and discretion where needed.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in human resources required.
- Experience in a professional services environment, preferred.
