Range $70k-80k Annual
Key Responsibilities:
In this vital role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the activities of our skilled Millwright, Weld/Fab, Reliability, and E&I technicians. You will work closely with both our Administrative and Operational teams to prioritize work and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Some of your key duties will include:
- Work Order Management: Screen incoming work orders, assess the scope, and analyze the level of planning required.
- Job Site Assessment: Conduct field walkdowns to identify job requirements and ensure safety measures are in place.
- Safety Coordination: Collaborate with the Safety Department to enforce all relevant safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out protocols.
- Resource Planning: Estimate work duration, required skills, and procure necessary equipment, tools, and parts.
- Documentation: Prepare work procedures, gather technical documents, and compile job packages for skilled trades.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to set priorities and communicate job expectations to skilled trades.
- Continuous Improvement: After job completion, gather feedback from the trades to enhance future job efficiency.
- Scheduling & Reporting: Lead weekly coordination meetings, publish weekly schedules, and generate reports from the CMMS on work management processes.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. Our ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or GED; 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing pumps, valves, gearboxes, etc
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency with Windows-based programs.
- Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge.
- The ability to develop detailed work plans and write clear, concise work procedures.
- A collaborative mindset to work with Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure quality and safe work
