Property Management Company seeks an experienced Director of Compliance. In this role you will be the liaison for the organization, owner representatives and regulatory agencies to warrant the accurate coordination of all aspects of occupancy for new developments or the acquisition of affordable housing developments, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Provide support to owners by assisting with the completion of affordable loan applications for new developments.
- Monitor the rent up of the affordable program requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams & investors to ensure properties remain compliant.
- Create and implement marketing plans and advertising campaigns as required by regulatory agencies.
- Oversee the review of original files, forms, procedures and monitor submission to investor partners.
- Develop and execute rental policies/procedures in accord with fair housing law and regulatory agreements.
- Coordinate and oversee housing lotteries.
- Work with operations team to identify and facilitate lease prep and move-ins·
- Conducts regular meetings with compliance staff to review deliverables and goals.
- Provides training to and acts as a resource to compliance staff.
- Provide reports/documentation as required to investors.
- Additional duties as required.

Requirements Needed for this job:
- Proficient in administering all current government housing assistance programs such as Project-Based Section 8-EIV, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HOME.
- C3P, SHCM or other affordable housing industry certification(s) required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of resident relations, recertification process and program compliance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and RealPage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
