About the Role:
The Estate Planning, Probate and Guardianship Attorney position is the perfect fit if you’re ready to take on a new challenge that comes with industry-leading benefits. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee trust and estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other related documents.
- Handle all aspects of probate and estate administration to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, wealth preservation, and probate litigation.
- Conduct thorough legal research, prepare detailed legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to individual client needs.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- 2-10 years of experience in trust and estate planning and probate matters.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
- Licensed in the state of Texas for at least 2 years or more. (Required)
- Research and writing skills.
- Interest in conducting hearings and being in the courtroom.
- Interest in Mediation.
- Interest in Consults.
- Energetic and motivated.
- Highly organized.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, Clio (preferred not required).
- You’re a STRONG FIT if you have 6+ years of experience in probate, wills and guardianship administration.
Pay range and compensation package:
Work Remotely on occasions.
