We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bartender and Tour Guide at Bespoken Spirits. The successful candidate will play a dual role, creating an exceptional experience for our guests at the bar and during distillery tours. This position requires a passion for spirits, a deep understanding of our distillation process, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Bartending:
- Prepare and serve various beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring high-quality service and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide recommendations and educate customers about different spirits and cocktails, enhancing their experience.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle credit transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are correctly recorded.
- Assist in creating and updating the cocktail menu to reflect seasonal and product offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol-serving regulations and company policies.
Tour Guide:
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of the distillery, highlighting our products' history, production process, and unique features.
- Educate guests on the distillation process, ingredients, and craftsmanship in producing our spirits.
- Answer guest questions knowledgeably and enthusiastically, providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist in coordinating tour schedules and managing group bookings.
- Support marketing efforts by participating in events and promoting distillery products and tours.
- Collect and record visitor feedback to continually improve tour experiences.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all guests visiting the distillery.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending, preferably in a setting that involves craft spirits or cocktails.
- Experience in a customer service or hospitality role, with a passion for interacting with people.
- Knowledge of spirits, particularly the distillation process, and an interest in learning more about the craft.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and engagingly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Must be 21 years of age or older, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
