We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a reputable law firm client in Atlanta - responsible for managing and maintaining the desktop and end-user environment of the Atlanta office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues on desktop and laptop systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals such as printers, monitors, and mobile devices.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and software updates on user devices.
- Manage and configure user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
- Assist with the setup and support of remote connections, VPNs, and other network-related tasks.
- Work closely with other IT team members to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
- Train and assist end users with system usage, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in desktop support, helpdesk support, or a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, desktop applications, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and VPN technologies.
