Apex Systems is looking for an Senior Demand Planner to assist with new growth within a Fortune 500 client.
Location: Charlotte, Full time on site/4 days a week
Duration: 3 months to perm
Hourly rate: $30-45hr on direct w2 dependent upon experience
Salary: $65-90k/year + 5-10% bonus
Top Requirements:
- Critical thinker, ability to justify and excellent communication with internal employees who are essentially this team’s customers
- 5-7 years in supply chain, inventory or demand planning
- Analytical experience
- Experience validating decisions through reports
- Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups, visual basics)
- Ability to transform large data sets into usable information
- Very organized
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This Supply Chain Management position will sit on a new team within Supply Chain at this client. This team is being stood up to address the huge amount of inventory this company acquired during COVID when supply chain patterns were less predictable. This material is now often in the wrong location, is the wrong type of material, etc. but could be used for other projects. This Supply Chain Management Analyst will be responsible for the corporate demand planning process. This person will essentially create the demand plan, the buy plan and understanding what healthy inventory levels and trends look like. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication as he/she will be expected to communicate both within and outside the team. The team has created big changes within the entire organization through implementing new approval processes with goals of cost reduction.
We are unable to work corp-to-corp or 1099. Candidates must be able to sit on Apex Systems direct w2 without sponsorship needed now or in the future.
We also cannot accomodate fully remote. Candidates are required to sit on site on a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC.
