Restoration Society, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team and drive the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our organization.
The COO will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the organization's overall success and sustainability. Reporting to and partnering with the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee Restoration Society's service commitments and contracts to endure compliant and stellar execution.
The COO will establish policies that promote RSI's culture and vision through its operations. The COO leads employees and encourages maximum, philosophical performance and dedication whilst maintaining the highest level of integrity and leading by example under all circumstances and at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Streamline processes and procedures to optimize effectiveness and efficiency across all departments and programs.
- Monitor key performance outcomes to track achievement and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure service commitments and contracts are executed within the standards outlined within their respective guidelines.
Financial Management:
- In collaboration with CFO, oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.
Human Resources:
- Lead and mentor the human resources team, ensuring a positive, productive and compliant work environment.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are developed, implemented and executed in a compliant manner, consistent with the policies for recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
- Creation and implementation of a succession planning program.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the non-profit sector.
- Provide recommendations with subsequent execution for organizational growth and sustainability.
Collaboration and Partnership:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, donors, partners, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to promote our mission and initiatives.
- Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities to enhance our impact and reach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of successful leadership and upper level strategic management experience in the non-profit sector.
- Extensive experience working in the field(s) of mental health, substance abuse, and/or rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of finances and experience with budgeting, financial management, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with customers, staff, and diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a demonstrated understanding of their importance in non-profit organizations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - 110,000 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule: Monday to Friday; On call; Weekends as needed; In-person
