Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Junior Salesforce Administrator to join a nonprofit organization in the Durham, NC area.
The organization’s mission is to foster community health through housing and nutritional programs. You would support that mission by assisting with day-to-day tasks in their Salesforce CRM, including some data management.
The first 90 days would be primarily on-site at an office in Durham, but the position is open to a hybrid schedule beyond that, with 1-2 days remote each week.
This is a full-time position with a target salary of $60,000 to $65,000, plus benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the CRM platform.
- Manage and own relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors to develop product strategy and drive desired outcomes.
- Support administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, approval processes, and other routine tasks.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage data feeds and other integrations.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
- Make recommendations and design solutions that improve user experience, expand platform utilization, and align with the overall organization strategy.
- Create and maintain reporting that meets management requirements and efficiently conveys key performance indicators in multiple areas of the organization.
- Create and maintain documentation for users, processes, approval processes, and workflow.
- Document system requirements, including validation rules, process builder, automation, record types, encryption, workflow, approval processes, and triggers.
- Work with third-party vendors and Salesforce premier support to resolve issues.
- Remain current on Salesforce best practices, technologies, and certifications.
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems and/or a Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
- Familiarity with the creation and configuration of Salesforce dashboards and reporting.
- A track record of working successfully as a member of a team and taking initiative to own individual projects.
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
