Job Description
We're seeking a QA Engineer to join our Connected Technologies Platform team. This role focuses on ensuring quality across dealership websites, web applications, and car applications through comprehensive testing strategies. The position offers a unique blend of manual testing (80%) and automation testing (20%), working within AWS infrastructure.
You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for validating critical connected services and ensuring seamless integration between various automotive systems. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the automotive sector while contributing to the future of connected vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed test cases from functional specs, sequence flows, and user stories
- Perform end-to-end integration testing for multiple systems under AWS Infrastructure
- Conduct API testing using Postman and RestAssured
- Test microservices utilizing REST and gRPC protocols
- Execute tests involving Telematics Control Units and Radio systems
- Analyze logs for both server and mobile applications
- Manage test cases in JIRA and maintain testing documentation
- Support production deployments and coordinate with stakeholders
- Build and maintain test metrics and reporting
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint activities
Required Experience/Skills
- Strong functional testing expertise in Web, Mobile App, and API testing
- Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure testing
- Proficiency in end-to-end integration testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Expertise in JIRA and test case management
- Experience with Postman and REST API testing
Nice-to-Haves
- Automotive industry experience
- Experience with Telematics Control Units and Radio systems testing
- Knowledge of Java or Python for test automation
- Experience with performance testing
- Background in connected services testing
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
