The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor will be crucial in supporting ongoing operational tasks while driving efficiency and performance enhancements. Key duties include establishing safety protocols, overseeing team training, and ensuring the consistent functionality and improvement of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and initiate continuous improvements.
- Develop and enforce safety measures for all personnel, including third-party contractors and suppliers.
- Create training programs to ensure team members’ competency and skills development.
- Ensure the upkeep of manufacturing equipment with a focus on long-term reliability and continuous advancement.
- Manage the maintenance of building systems, including HVAC and electrical components.
- Prepare site budgets and complete financial documentation for capital expenditures.
- Build and maintain relationships with external contractors.
- Supervise and coordinate vendor projects to ensure on-time completion.
- Organize effective repair schedules, including preventive maintenance and cost projections.
- Focus on optimizing operational costs, equipment performance, and availability.
- Manage the inventory of critical spare parts to ensure readiness.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to protect company and product reputation.
- Assist with other related duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing automation setting.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor.
- Competence in the following areas:
- Understanding and using control schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Control panel design and layout.
- Instrumentation, controls, and blueprint reading.
- Electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Industrial electrical design standards and safety regulations.
- Robotics programming and interfacing, especially with Siemens and ABB systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
- Skills in resource planning and cost forecasting.
- Background in process optimization and documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory permits and building codes.
