Job Function:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Provide diagnosis and treatment for various cardiovascular conditions such as heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and heart failure.
- Create personalized treatment strategies in collaboration with patients to establish realistic health objectives.
- Manage medication prescriptions and monitor their efficacy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance patient outcomes.
- Conduct and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests like electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Offer guidance on lifestyle adjustments including exercise routines, dietary habits, and stress management techniques to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
- Coordinate patient care with other medical specialists such as cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology research through conference participation and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
