We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Manager to lead all the IT Infrastructure systems and activities in the AMCAS region, primarily managing the main sites of Billerica and Suwannee, as well as IT management of the AMCAS regional office locations (Tewksbury, Phoenix, Portland, Memphis, Guadalajara and Sao Palo).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure within the AMCAS region.
- Align outcomes within the overall IT infrastructure and end user strategy, ensuring policies and processes are maintained and developed to keep the business operations running globally in a secure and managed way. Work within the global IT team on delivery of IT projects across the network
- Managing the AMCAS IT infrastructure and Helpdesk teams, overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and support of network and server systems, ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards and policies, and aligning IT services with the regional business needs.
- Optimizing infrastructure performance, facilitating seamless connectivity, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization through effective IT infrastructure management.
- Project management for projects defined within the realm of influence for the AMCAS region. This can involve creating the plans, managing resources, as well as dealing with incidents and escalations within the project. This requires alignment and coordination with the customer, the other teams in IT and external vendors, to ensure the project is delivered with a successful outcome.
- Managing all End User related activities within the AMCAS region and smaller regional locations – including hardware/peripheral management and distribution. Reviewing incidents/problems and service requests for these locations and ensuring that Service Level standards are met.
EXPERIENCE:
5 to 10 years’ experience working as in the IT Infrastructure, ideally with experience managing a team of IT professionals.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Network Management: Networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, BGP, OSPF
- Network devices: Routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitoring tools: PRTG or similar
- Troubleshooting: Network diagnostics, performance tuning etc
- Server and Storage Management: Server operating systems: Windows Server, Linux
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, VSAN
- Storage solutions: SAN, NAS, RAID, and backup systems
- Cloud Infrastructure: (Desirable) AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Security Management: Firewalls and VPNs: Checkpoint or similar
- Security frameworks: ISO 27001
- Endpoint security: Antivirus, IDS/IPS, EDR
- Incident response and forensics
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Backup solutions: Veeam, Backup Exec
- Disaster recovery: DRaaS, Business continuity planning
- Data replication and high availability
- System Management: Active Directory, Entra/AAD, M365 Management etc.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; a Master of Science in CS or related field preferred.
