A customer of Insight Global is seeking a skilled IT Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory control, installing and debugging systems, deploying new computers, connecting printers, assisting with new software packages, disaster recovery, creating system security plans, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control for IT equipment.
- Install, debug, and deploy new computers and related hardware.
- Connect and configure printers and other peripherals.
- Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of new software packages.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Create and maintain system security plans.
- Document all processes and procedures accurately.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Proficiency with Office 365.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI.
- Programming experience.
- Familiarity with Remedy or Helix systems.
- Background in DevOps
