We are looking to hire a Stay Cable Supervisors to join our growing Mega Projects team. Our Stay Cable Supervisors oversee a team of highly skilled professionals as they build some of the most recognizable bridge structures across the United States. Currently we are looking for candidates to work onsite in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Guide a team of professionals as they install specifically engineered and designed stay cables.
- Oversee your team in stay cable installation responsibilities including:
- Welding HDPE pipes
- Preparation of equipment to prepare for cable installation
- Operating equipment to lift pipes in order to pull in multiple strands with a set of winches
- Stress each strand installed to test durability and safety measures
- Ensuring all final steps are complete including corrosion protection measures, installation of a fire protection system, monitoring system activation and hydraulic dampers on each stay cable.
- Act as a mentor and resource to direct reports to ensure stay cable installation requirements are followed.
- Maintain complete records of team's working hours to ensure customer scheduling and safety practices are followed.
- Ensure safety requirements and policies requirements are practiced at all times while onsite.
- Complete Daily Risk Assessment with your assigned team to continually support a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Professional craft work experience, specifically in construction a plus
- Experience in Post Tensioning, stay cable installation, or HDPE Welding preferred
- Experience in supervising or mentoring a team preferred
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Fluency in the Spanish language a plus

- Thorough understanding of post tensioning systems or the motivation to learn from our experienced team.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel may be required for future projects outside of Corpus Christ, Texas.

- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Physical resilience, quick comprehension and high-quality awareness.
