Job Summary
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the processes and systems related to servicing our customers and the support of the production, quality assurance, template and CAD technician staff. The CS Manager is directly responsible for the delivery of administrative and operational assistance designed to promote exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Provides team members with the appropriate training, direction, and motivation that enable their success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Encourages team members to look for opportunities for process simplification and improvements.
- Challenges team members in providing exceptional support to both external and internal customers.
- Assists staff in resolving problems/issues.
- Makes effective independent decisions representing day-to-day issues that do not require team discussion, input or agreement.
- Works closely with other members of management team to develop goals, action plans and time tables.
- Involves other management staff in collaborative decisions based on company’s decision-making guidelines.
- Participates in the hiring process, training and development of subordinates.
- Supports and adheres to all company disciplinary action procedures.
- Assumes the responsibility to resolve problems of attitude and interpersonal deficiencies using counseling.
- Spends time anticipating potential problems and develops plans to prevent crisis from occurring.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience in a related field.
- Prefer experience in building materials/construction industry.
- People-oriented and customer-centric.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Highly developed coaching and counseling skills.
