BBSI is excited to partner with a rapidly expanding airline catering service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Ramp Services. Join our vibrant team at LAX as a full-time Airfield Support Supervisor, where you will lead a team of Catering Service Representatives (CSRs) in the fast-paced airline catering industry.
Job Summary:
As the Airfield Support Supervisor you will be at the forefront of ensuring smooth operations on the airfield, maintaining excellent relationships with airlines, and guaranteeing that flights are catered to perfection and depart on time. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the positioning of CSR’s and trucks, ensuring adherence to protocols, and providing support during irregular operations to keep everything running like clockwork.
Duties:
- Lead the team in positioning people and trucks for timely flight catering
- Monitor CSR’s adherence to protocols and safety standards, providing guidance as needed
- Handle challenges and provide support during irregular operations
- Drive performance improvements and maintain high team morale
- Collaborate on innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- Experience in airport operations or airline catering
- Previous leadership experience in transportation, assembly, or logistics
- Thrives on ensuring work is completed to high standards and enjoys building positive relationships with team members and clients
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to instruct and engage with others
- Highly adaptable, customer-focused, and solution-oriented
- Flexible with varying shifts and working hours
