Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in migrating technology from on-premises to on-premises cloud environments. * Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, shell scripting, and automation tools like Puppet and Chef. * Experience with MFT (Managed File Transfer) systems or encryption technologies and protocols (AES, TLS, PGP, SSH, SSL, FTPS). * Familiarity with Puppet Cloud is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Preferred Skills: * Experience with Puppet Cloud. * Knowledge of encryption technologies and protocols.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to lead the migration of our technology from an on-premises environment to an on-premises cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with managed file transfer (MFT) or encryption technologies and protocols, and a strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, shell scripting, and automation tools like Puppet and Chef. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the migration of technology from an on-premises environment to an on-premises cloud environment. * Manage and optimize MFT (Managed File Transfer) systems or implement encryption technologies and protocols. * Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using automation tools such as Puppet and Chef. * Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services. * Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. * Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
