Inventory Associate – Cape May, NJ

Our client, one of the largest seafood harvesting, processing, and distribution companies on the eastern seaboard, currently has an opening available for an Inventory Associate. Working closely with other departments such as Inventory and Sales, the Inventory Associate is required to match inventory, post sales, check releases to ensure that the company and all relevant departs and partners have real-time, accurate information on the status of all inventory in the system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Post cash sales.
- Report vessel landings to Safis.
- Make transfers between freezers.
- Post boat tickets to be paid.
- Account for inventory purchase, production, usage, transfers, and sales.
Skills Required:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Neatness, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- The ability to follow written and oral instruction accurately.
- The ability to relate well with customers, personnel, visitors, governmental agencies and the general public.
- Math, media and specialized computer skills, including spreadsheet expertise.
Education/Experience:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
