Renewable Solar Inc. is a rapidly growing Solar Engineering, Construction, and
Procurement (EPC) currently managing a portfolio of over 200 ongoing PV solar projects
valued in excess of $300M with a staff of roughly 140 personnel. As part of this ongoing
growth, RSI is looking for a Talent Manager to assist with administrative tasks
associated with rapid growth profile.
Job Description: The RSI Talent Manager/Staffing Specialist ensures the company
attracts, develops, and retains talent while aligning HR practices with ongoing business
objectives. He or she will relieve other departments of administrative staff work, while
including them in the decision-making process as appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement process for recruitment, staffing, employee retention, and
performance appraisals.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate
screening, interviews and offer negotiations.
• Build relationships with local colleges, trade schools, and industry network to create
a pipeline of qualified candidates for solar construction.
• Collaborate with department heads to meet staffing needs and implement effective
performance management practices.
• Research labor laws for new markets, traveling to location when necessary to recruit
and staff projects for out of state execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration, or an equivalent HR
certification
• Demonstrated success in recruitment and staffing efforts for similar sized
organization, preferably 5+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated successful implementation of a structured performance review
process across a similar sized organization, preferably 2+ years of experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated via a successful
past work history.
• Must be willing to travel up to 1 week/month to recruit labor for out of state projects
(total travel unlikely to exceed 6 weeks per calendar year).
Supervisory Controls
• This is a non-supervisory position
• This position reports to either the Director of Human Resources or the Director of
Construction (TBD depending on need)
• Hybrid telework eligible IAW company policy after initial 6-month probationary position
Evaluation Factors
Talent Manager / Staffing Specialist will be evaluated based on their ability to add value
to the entire organization, as measured by company success KPIs.
Pay Scale
Negotiable, with range at $75k-$120k depending on experience and qualifications. RSI
offers sponsored health, vision, dental, and life insurance benefits. RSI offers a 401k
match up to 5% of salary. 2 weeks of Paid Time Off and 1 week of sick time is standard.
