Pride One Construction had its roots as a land development and Cluster Home Community builder of age targeted homes over 20 years ago. Construction was primarily focused on projects in Northeast Ohio. We quickly became a full service “turnkey” developer! We are looking to add a Project Manager to our team in Medina, OH! This person would be in charge of the direct project activities and ensure the successful completion of the project according to the parameters of the Project Contract.

Responsibilities
- Maintains accountability for the successful completion of assigned projects.
- Makes decisions regarding human resources, such as assigning roles on their projects and providing feedback to them on individual performance throughout the construction process.
- Creates and edits the contract as per discussions with the Project Team and client.
- Manages and controls the project schedule and costs and makes modifications as needed.
- Coordinates with VP of Construction and Site Superintendent on a regular basis to discuss project status, schedule and budget; meets every two weeks for small projects and every month for large projects.
- Conducts weekly OAC Meeting to document project status and action items, assigning responsibility to each task required to complete project.
- Attends regular walk-through meetings, led by the Site Superintendent, to assess project status and quality.
- Coordinates with the Accountant to ensure effective communication and documentation flow about the project, including project status, subcontractor information and financial information.
- Responsible for compiling paperwork throughout the project, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant documents.
- Reports on a not less than monthly basis to VP of Construction with overall Project Pulse
- Manages the punch process and provides direction for all involved to bring punch list to a close and signed off by Owner.
- Coordinates the post-project review activities, including evaluations and financial reviews.
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees; demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication.
- Must be very organized and able to explain details and give direction or guidance to others.
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills such as Word and Excel.
- Must be able to travel
- Must have OSHA 30
