Title: AVEVA MES Principal Engineer (equivalent to Director level)
Compensation: negotiable DOE
Position Type: 6 months Contract-to-Hire
Location: Approx 80% remote. Must be able/willing to travel to manufacturing plants about 1x/week (San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston). Occasional overnights with deployments, or during training which occur, maybe once per quarter. Travel expenses will be covered.
Description: Their goal is to consolidate one MES that oversees each plant.
1) Need SME to pull information from the floor of manufacturing plants, 2) Design UI & Controls, while implementing best coding practices for systems, 3) Managing redundancies of applications + get data back out to the higher level.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience in AVEVA MES, with SCADA, and ISA Levels 1-3. Eell versed with Level 3, is familiar with Level 2, and understands Level 1
- Wonderware InTouch HMI or Wonderware OMI
- FactoryTalk View SE
