Information Assurance (IA) Security Admin Support Services
Location: San Antonio, Texas
LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for an Information Assurance (IA) Security Admin Support Services to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) DDSB in based in San Antonio, TX.
Qualifications:
- 4 Years Security Experience or Tier III Systems Admin experience (so they have server (windows & Linux) knowledge) and can learn and apply IA Security quickly.
- IAT III cert (CISSP, CASP, GCIH etc...) needed for hire.
- Computing environment cert - Microsoft Cert is great if possessed but no longer available (MCTS, MCSA, MCSE)
- Not sure if any replacement has been made for these officially.
- Tier 3 Background investigation or higher
- ACAS Scans (asr/arf files, Nessus files, credentialed scans, ACAS Vulnerability scans, ACAS STIG scans)
- SCAP Scans (STIGs, CKLs/CKLBs, XCCDFs, SCC Tool, STIG Viewer)
- eMASS database experience
- ATOs
- Annual Reviews (Continuous Monitoring)
- RMF (Risk Management Framework)
- General knowledge of how Patching Vulnerabilities work
- General knowledge of how GPOs work for STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guideline) compliance
- Knowledge of what Security Controls are
- Active Directory
- Attack Vectors vs Exploits and understand Mitigation & Remediation technologies
- POA&Ms (Plan of Actions and Milestones)
- Knowledge of how to research and apply NIST, DoD and DISA guidance
- Asset Management (Master Asset (server) List knowledge)
- Risk Assessments
- Risk Acceptances (POA&M Deviations)
- Incident Response
- Excel Spreadsheets
- Some general knowledge of ESS (Endpoint Security Solutions) which used to be HBSS (Host Based Security System)
- Should know what it is, but no need to configure it.
- Some general knowledge of Trellix, which used to be McAfee
- Should know what it is, but no need to configure it.
- Knowledge of what Hardware and Software Baseline lists are and their use
- General knowledge of what PPSM (Ports, Protocols, Services and Management) is
- Excellent written and Oral communication (frequent emails and meetings with customers)
- Ability to work with a Team and Independently as well (Problem-solving, logical thinking, attention to detail etc...)
- Required:A NACLC Public Trust is Required to Start.
- Possession of an IAT III within 180 Days of Employment. Anyone of the following certifications will satisfy this requirement:
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- **Must be local in San Antonio or close enough to go into the NBP office when required, at least 2 days a week**
- **Scripting is not required but VERY welcome for automation purposes**
