Position: CMMS Engineer
Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $45/hour
Experience:
- 3 years of experience working with CMMS software in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance environment
- Experience developing preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, managing work orders, and inventory management
- Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment or a similar high-tech, cleanroom setting is preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of CLIA requirements for Technical Consultants (T.C.) is advantageous
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Greene Resources is seeking a CMMS Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Manage and maintain the CMMS system, ensuring accurate data for equipment, spare parts, maintenance schedules, and work orders
- Create, schedule, and track work orders for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion
- Analyze maintenance data using CMMS to monitor key metrics
- Train maintenance staff on CMMS usage, ensuring proper logging and completion of work orders
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability while managing costs
- Collaborate with reliability engineers to improve maintenance programs and extend equipment lifespan
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Position Requirements:
- Proficiency in using CMMS platforms such as Maximo, SAP PM, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations and asset management practices
- Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and database reporting
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication equipment, HVAC systems, and facility utilities
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO, CLIA, or other industry-specific standards)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate, lead, and mentor team members
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with changing priorities
