There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices. The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a Full Time position, eligible for a sign-on bonus.
This position shift will be:
- 7am-7pm =Three 12 hours shifts + On-Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a month, approximately every 3 rd or 4 th weekend=Fri night close of business to Mon 6 am)
- Must report w/in 30 min.
Qualifications Education:
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years experience and: - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
OR
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
- BLS
- ACLS
