Overview:
Responsible for developing new defense industry products and/or accessories by working closely with the engineering team and various support departments to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and updates 2D draft files and 3D model files based on design and manufacturing requirements, or as instructed by management
- Designs and produces simple prototype(s) of new products as required, or instructed by management with assistance from management or team
- Designs and produces needed simple fixturing for assemblies (in the assembly departments), or as instructed by management
- Works with Engineering Technician(s) on product testing and data collection
- Troubleshoots problems in new and existing products, or as instructed by management
- Contributes to milestones in project development & performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred (with engineering/problem-solving skillset) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in 3D/2D modeling & design software
- Must be trustworthy with confidential intellectual property and other non-disclose-able company information and communication
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office; keyboard accuracy and proficiency
- Ability to accurately input and retrieve information from the company software system and/or company training in system operation
