Position: Data Modeler
Start Date: Immediate; 18+ months
Location: Hybrid (3 days a week) - Atlanta, GA
Opportunity Overview:
Join a dynamic project aimed at rebuilding a critical collateral system for a major financial institution. This role is integral to transitioning from a third-party application to an in-house solution, with a proof of concept expected by early 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various applications.
- Create a data dictionary and oversee the deployment of data models into databases.
- Lead historical data migration from Rockall to CMS, coordinating ETL efforts.
- Design and optimize database structures to support data retrieval and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance through effective design.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (ETL, Star Schema).
- Knowledge of relational databases and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Proven experience in OLTP systems and file/document processing models.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
